Societies that eat large amounts of lignans have lower rates of breast and colon cancer. Use it in a salad dressing or mix with cottage cheese or yogurt. (try adding 1 Tbsp to 1/2 cup cottage cheese, add some onion or dehydrateed onion or garlic and some curry or some oregano, basil or rosemary or some chili powder and cumin for a great tasting treat. Try mixing cottage cheese or yogurt with flax oil and add cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice or vanilla and a good healthy sweetener like Splenda (from Johnson & Johnson).
